BMW Road Map Southern Africa MOTION 2019
The BMW Road Map Southern Africa MOTION 2019 is the official navigation map update for BMW vehicles with the older-generation “MOTION” or “Premium” navigation systems (primarily CIC and older NBT units). This update refreshes the map database for the Southern Africa region with changes current up to its production year, providing improved accuracy for road networks, addresses, and points of interest to ensure reliable journey planning.

- Revised Points of Interest (POI): Updated locations for fuel stations, restaurants, hotels, and BMW service centers.

- Basic Speed Limit Display: Provides speed limit information for supported roads (system dependent).

Supported Car Models (Examples)
Compatible with BMW vehicles equipped with CIC (Car Information Computer) or early NBT (Next Big Thing) navigation systems, typically from model years approximately 2008-2014/15.
- 1 Series: E81, E82, E87, E88, F20 (early models with CIC).
- 3 Series: E90, E91, E92, E93, F30 (very early models).
- 5 Series: E60, E61, F10 (early models).
- 6 Series: E63, E64, F06, F12, F13 (early models).
- 7 Series: F01, F02, F03 (early models).
- X Models: X1 (E84), X3 (E83, F25 early), X5 (E70, F15 early), X6 (E71, E72).
- Z4: E89.
Noted:
- This MOTION map is not compatible with newer systems using ID4/ID5/ID6/ID7 (NBT-EVO, MGU). Vehicle compatibility must be confirmed via the vehicle's VIN or navigation system version.
