Supported Car Models

In BMW navigation terminology, the “WAY” map series is specifically designed for vehicles equipped with the Entry Nav or Entry Evo head unit systems (which typically utilize an SD card for map storage). Compatibility is based on the head unit rather than just the model. Typical models include:

• 1 Series: F20, F40, F52
• 2 Series: F44 (Gran Coupe), F45 (Active Tourer), F46 (Gran Tourer)
• 3 Series: F30, F35 (specific regional entry-level trims), G20 (entry trims)
• X Series: F48 / U11 (X1), F39 (X2)
• MINI: F54, F55, F56, F57 (equipped with Entry Nav)

Note: Please verify your specific head unit version (Entry Nav / Entry Evo) via the iDrive menu before updating. WAY maps are not compatible with CIC (PREMIUM), NBT/NBT Evo (NEXT/EVO), or MGU (JOY) systems.
