The BMW Road Map India PREMIUM 2018 is the official OEM navigation map update specifically designed for older BMW vehicles equipped with the HDD-based CIC (Car Information Computer) navigation system. This 2018 release provides comprehensive geographical data for the Indian subcontinent, covering extensive highway networks, updated city layouts, and a robust directory of Points of Interest (POI). Supplied via USB stick or export tool and activated using a 20-digit FSC (Freischaltcode), this “PREMIUM” tier map ensures that drivers of earlier BMW models continue to receive accurate, reliable, and safe route guidance across India.

Function

• Updated Road Network: Reflects the 2018 road infrastructure, including new expressways, revised interchanges, and modified traffic routes across major Indian cities.
• Points of Interest (POI) Database: Features an extensive and updated list of gas stations, parking garages, hotels, restaurants, ATMs, and BMW dealerships.
• Improved Routing & ETA: Optimizes route calculation for faster destinations and provides a more accurate Estimated Time of Arrival.
• Speed Limit Information: Displays up-to-date speed limits and traffic sign information to enhance driver awareness and safety.
• 3D Landmarks: Renders 3D models of significant landmarks and terrain in major metropolitan areas for easier navigation.

Supported Car Models

This “PREMIUM” map update is strictly compatible with BMW vehicles featuring the older CIC navigation head unit (typically produced between 2008 and 2013/2014). It is not compatible with NBT, NBT Evo, or MGU systems. Supported series include:
